Mitochondria––cellular organelles essential to the body's metabolism–– descend from bacteria that entered an endosymbiotic relationship with eukaryotic cells.
We were asked to depict the impact of our client’s treatment pathway on metabolic enzymes. We chose an aqueous-cytosolic viewpoint to reveal the functional components of mitochondria. The cristae, granules, ribosomes, and circular DNA are evident within the mitochondrial matrix.
